Il luogo “iter” della causa di beatificazione di P. Angelo Paoli
Abstract
The Cause of Beatification of Blessed Angelo Paoli (1642-1720) began quickly, within three years of his death, as something that was greatly desired by the reputation for holiness that the “Father of the Poor” enjoyed in the city of Rome and beyond. Yet, almost three centuries went by before it was brought to a conclusion. This article illustrates the complex development of the cause, interrupted by matters that were only partially related to it. As well as the information that is given about the process, we find some interesting biographical details about some of the people involved.
