Sibertus de Beka e l’Ordinale trastoria e spiritualità. Considerazioni e appunti per nondimenticare
Abstract
Sibertus de Beka (†1332) was one of the first Carmelites who reached the magisterium in the Paris University. He also was prior provincial and teacher in the Köln University. But he is mainly known as the redactor of the Ordinale, attributed to him (1312). This text ruled, with some adjustments, the liturgical life of the Carmelites until the post-tridentine reform. The Sibertus’ work represents a milestone for the life and spirituality of Carmel. Moreover it is a model of new reading of the tradition, in dialogue with the present and the emerging question.
