Cor orans. Una nuova normativa per i monasteri femminili di clausura

Abstract

In 2016 Pope Francis handed over to the whole Church, and specifically to the contemplative monastic life, the Apostolic Consitution  Vultum Dei Quaerere, in which he gave explicit mandate to the CIVCSVA to produce the consequent Implementing Instruction. Task  accomplished in 2018 with the Cor Orans, after a long process of revision and renovation regarding the Law of contemplative  consacrated life. The Instruction gives an enriched and new vision of some particular aspects: the autonomy of monasteries, the forms  and rules of cloister, the responsability and power of the Holy See, of the diocesan Bishop and of the Regular Superior, the  tasks of the Federation and its Offices, the formation.
