Abstract

The human existence and the spiritual experiences of St. Mary Magdalene de’ Pazzi have become the holy places of a powerful  grounding of the Presence of God, an extension of the Incarnation of the Word. These are places inhabited and energized in a  surprising and restless manner by the Triune God, who holds open its ability to communicate with created beings, placed in direct comparison with Jesus the Word in all of the mystery of his Passion, Cross, and redemption; with the Virgin Mary, the key person of the  entire history of salvation; and with the Church and all of its members, guided by priests and consecrated religious. No one can shy away from the plan of God: either one accepts it or one rejects it. This reality affirms the life of St. Mary Magdalene, particularly  through her intense prayer experiences, true and proper examples of the Gift of God, open to being seen and touched, even shared, a  Gift which remains still open, still present, of the redemption set in motion by the Father by means of his Son, crucified and risen.
