Religious Life as a Search for Liminality
Resumen
This article presents some forms of religious life, but its purpose is to focus on the phenomenon of religious life as essentially, a search for liminality. In the current time of crisis in society, church, and religious life, a new liminality inevitably arises now that all axioms and traditions seem to have lost their power to convey meaning. Clear-cut and acknowledged identities seem to have passed their expiration date, but this new desert or empty space is at the same time the ideal climate for bubbling enthusiasm and infectious creativity to rediscover religious life for the twenty-first century. Unbeaten paths have once again become possible in this liminal empty space where no one can lay claim to the truth and the right practice.
